Our History
The father-son team of Horace and George Spottswood purchased Quality Filters, Inc. in 1983. The hard work of our committed team members, the loyalty of our customers and the strength of our vendor relationships contributes to our legacy. Today QFI is a premier pleated air filter manufacturer and a primary employer to families in and around Robertsdale, Alabama.
Awards
Quality Filters was named as the 2011 Innovator Award recipient for the state of Alabama by the Southern Growth Policies Board. In 2004, we were chosen out of over 50 nominees to receive the Industry Innovator Award from the Alabama Technology Network in part because of our focus to use lean/sigma to eliminate areas of waste in our manufacturing process.
In 2013, Quality Filters won the E3 Economy Award. This particular award recognizes a company that seized the economic opportunities identified from the E3 assessment and surpassed the economic expectations. We were also named Bronze winner of the 2013 and 2015 Home Improvement Executive Innovation Award in the Air Filtration category. These awards show our continued commitment to innovation.
